How to give a kitchen a face lift

Published by Oliver on

If you are are looking for a new kitchen at a fraction of the cost, it is worth considering a kitchen face lift.

Take our client’s kitchen pictured below.  The work surface is rather dated, the tiles are damaged, and the units have been incorrectly fitted; but otherwise the units and fittings are sound.

Instead of replacing the whole kitchen, our carpenters in Shrewsbury could give it a makeover. Our client choose to have the units properly balanced, a new work surface and door handles fitted, a new oven and extractor fan and the walls re-tiled (pictured below).

Other options include replacing the unit doors, fitting a modern glass splash-back, boxing in the boiler, or changing the tired laminate floor for a hard wooden floor or natural stone tiles.

The look is more fresh and contemporary but the cost is not crippling. For new kitchen fitting, unit refurbishment or bespoke handmade kitchens in Shropshire, do get in touch.
